On April 17, 2025, Congressman Cline highlighted April as #CommunityCollegeMonth. He emphasized the importance of community colleges in preparing students and strengthening the workforce, stating, "I’m proud to represent the Sixth District’s outstanding community colleges and will keep working to support their mission."
Later the same day, Cline commented on a development at JMU, sharing his approval of an institutional decision via Twitter. He stated he was "Proud to see JMU’s Board of Visitors take the right step and dissolve its DEI division." He elaborated that "DEI has no place in our schools" and advocated for a focus on "hard work and merit, not divisive, political agendas."
On April 18, 2025, Cline engaged with his followers on a religious note, wishing a blessed Good Friday to those observing the occasion. He included a biblical quote from I Peter 3:18, "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit."
Ben Cline has served as a U.S. Congressman since 2019, following a tenure in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2002 to 2018. He is a native of Stillwater, Oklahoma, born in 1972, and he resides in Fincastle. Cline holds a BA from Bates College and a JD from the University of Richmond.
