Congressman Ben Cline, representing Virginia’s 6th district, has expressed his views publicly on social media about various issues. Through a series of tweets, Cline addressed concerns about the legal system, voting rights, and immigration policies.

On April 10, 2025, Congressman Ben Cline criticized the Department of Justice under the Biden administration, stating, "It’s outrageous the Biden DOJ weaponized the Justice Department to go after Dr. Haim for blowing the whistle on Texas hospitals that were violating Texas law by pushing chemical castration on kids."

Later the same day, Cline expressed discontent towards the Democratic stance on voting legislation. He noted, "A majority of House Democrats voted against the Laken Riley Act. Today, 208 Democrats voted against the SAVE Act — a bill to ensure only American citizens can vote in U.S. elections. Why does the Left continue to put illegal immigrants ahead of the American people?"

On April 11, 2025, Cline addressed issues surrounding immigration and public assistance. He shared figures stating, "Since 2023, 6,300 illegal immigrants with criminal records or are on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center have been paroled into the U.S. under Joe Biden. 905 collected Medicaid. 41 collected unemployment. 22 received student."

Ben Cline has held office in the U.S. Congress since 2019, succeeding Bob Goodlatte. Prior to this, he was a Virginia House of Delegates member from 2002 to 2018. Cline, who was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, currently resides in Fincastle, Virginia. He holds a BA from Bates College and a JD from the University of Richmond.
