On April 8, 2025, Congressman Ben Cline of Virginia shared his perspectives on various political topics through a series of tweets. Cline currently represents Virginia’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress. In a string of statements, he addressed issues relating to gun ownership, voter identification, and judicial power, reflecting his political priorities and legislative support.

In an early morning tweet, Congressman Ben Cline criticized the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) Zero-Tolerance Policy, labeling it as a "political power grab aimed at American gun owners." He heralded its repeal as "a win for Americans' constitutional rights and for gun store owners nationwide." "The ATF’s Zero-Tolerance Policy was nothing but a political power grab aimed at American gun owners. Repealing it is a win for Americans' constitutional rights and for gun store owners nationwide."

Later that day, Cline tweeted his support for the requirement of identification for voting. He noted, "You need an ID to open a bank account, drive a car, buy a home," questioning the lack of such a requirement for voting. He expressed support for the SAVE Act, indicating its backing by the House GOP. "You need an ID to open a bank account, drive a car, buy a home. So why not to vote? @HouseGOP is fighting for the SAVE Act because requiring an ID to vote is just common sense."

In a subsequent post, Cline mentioned the issue of "activist judges" whom he claims are obstructing the "America First agenda." He expressed his support for Congressman Darrell Issa's No Rogue Rulings Act, which seeks to curtail such judicial actions and restore "constitutional order." "Activist judges are doing all they can to block President Trump and the America First agenda. That’s why today we’re voting on @repdarrellissa’s No Rogue Rulings Act—and I’m proud to support it to rein in these activist judges and restore constitutional order."
