Congressman Ben Cline, representing Virginia's 6th district since 2019, has recently shared his views on border security and federal appointments through a series of tweets. Cline, who succeeded Bob Goodlatte in Congress and previously served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2002 to 2018, expressed support for current administration policies and appointments.

On February 19, 2025, Congressman Cline tweeted about the significant decrease in border crossings under President Trump's Border Czar Tom Homan and Secretary Kristi Noem. He stated: "Border crossings are DOWN 95% under President Trump’s Border Czar @realTomHoman and @Sec_Noem. This is a major win for border security, but the job isn’t finished yet." He emphasized that Republicans are committed to securing the border.

The following day, on February 20, 2025, he congratulated Kash Patel on his new role as Director of the FBI. In his tweet, he remarked: "Congratulations to @Kash_Patel on his appointment as Director of the FBI! With his experience in national security and the Department of Justice, he’s the right man to restore public confidence and transparency to the FBI."

Later that same day, Congressman Cline addressed issues related to taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal immigrants. He asserted: "Illegal immigrants should NEVER have been getting taxpayer-funded benefits meant for American citizens in the first place. That’s just common sense." He praised the current administration for prioritizing American citizens over illegal immigrants.
