On January 30, 2025, Congressman Cline expressed his condolences regarding a tragic incident near Reagan National Airport. In his tweet, he stated: "Praying for all those affected by the tragic plane crash near Reagan National. My heart goes out to the families of those lost. Grateful for the brave first responders working tirelessly in these difficult conditions."

Later that day, Cline commented on Vice President JD Vance's stance concerning immigration enforcement under President Biden's administration. He tweeted: "Vice President @JDVance is right—Biden’s failure to act on known violent criminals here illegally is mind-blowing. We knew where they were, and yet, they were allowed to roam free. Glad we now have an Administration that’s actually taking action and putting American families…"

In another post from January 30, 2025, Congressman Cline extended birthday wishes to Speaker of the House Johnson. He remarked: "Wishing a very happy birthday to my good friend and our Speaker of the House, @SpeakerJohnson! I'm grateful for your leadership and look forward to the important work we’ll continue to do for the American people."
