Congressman Ben Cline, representing Virginia's 6th district since 2019, has been vocal on social media about various political and economic issues. In a series of tweets, he addresses concerns ranging from inflation to fiscal responsibility and government efficiency.

On December 4, 2024, Congressman Cline expressed criticism towards the Democratic Party's handling of economic issues. He stated, "Another great example of Democrats showcasing their inability to understand the daily reality millions of Americans are facing. Egg prices are up 69.2% since Biden took office. Thankful that the country will be able to begin healing starting January 20."

The following day, December 5, 2024, Cline shared his anticipation for a meeting with notable figures in technology and business. He tweeted, "I’m looking forward to meeting with @elonmusk and @VivekGRamaswamy today on how DOGE will work with @HouseGOP to rein in reckless, wasteful spending and bring fiscal responsibility back to Washington."

Later that same day, Cline provided an update on his meeting with Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy regarding government efficiency initiatives. He noted his participation alongside Speaker Johnson and mentioned presenting a report on budget policies: "Today I joined @SpeakerJohnson in meeting @elonmusk (and his son!) to discuss his initiatives alongside @VivekGRamaswamy to establish a Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). I gave him a copy of our RSC Balanced Budget Task Force report, which outlines commonsense policies…"
