He further accused Democrats of being "soft on crime" and betraying Americans by allegedly welcoming criminals.

On November 19, 2024, Congressman Cline expressed his opposition to electric vehicle (EV) tax credits. He argued that such incentives benefit wealthy individuals at the expense of average taxpayers. Cline advocated for abolishing these credits under former President Trump's leadership to ensure tax dollars are utilized more effectively for citizens' benefit.
