Join wellness activities for open enrollment, a chance to win prizes Oct. 10-28
Open enrollment this year is Oct. 10-28, and the Benefits Department invites you to a few exciting wellness activities!
This year the open-enrollment process will again be self-service. You will be able to update your demographics, enroll in benefits, make a benefit coverage change, update your medical or dependent care flexible spending accounts or terminate enrollment.
The upcoming wellness events include a Wellness-Open Enrollment Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the City Hall Lobby at 22 Lincoln St. Register for an event at https://form.jotform.com/222623761608052
Come out and meet our benefits vendors during the fair. Take the time to ask any questions that you have about current benefits or maybe even one that you are considering enrolling in. As you stroll the lobby and chat with Optima Health, Delta Dental, EAP and many more, don’t forget to register for their door prizes. As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, you can register for a mammogram with the Sentara Mammography Unit, if you haven't already.
Do you know your numbers? Take this opportunity to find out at the fair. Secure your spot for Bio-Metric health screenings and have the following checked: blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index, diabetes risk, tobacco cessation and regular physical activity. Fasting is not required for screenings. The best part of it all is lunch is on us. Use the link below to register and select vouchers for a Chick-Fil-A sandwich with chips and/or a Sweet Frog treat.
