Loudoun County issued the following announcement on Nov. 4
Loudoun County has again received national recognition for organizational excellence in public procurement. The Loudoun County Division of Procurement has earned the 2021 Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award from the National Procurement Institute.
The Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award is earned by public and nonprofit agencies that demonstrate a commitment to procurement excellence. This annual program recognizes procurement organizations that embrace innovation, professionalism, productivity, leadership and e-procurement.
Loudoun County is one of only 42 counties in the United States and Canada to receive the award this year. Loudoun has been a recipient of the award for 23 consecutive years.
The Loudoun County Division of Procurement is responsible for the acquisition of all goods and services, including professional services and construction, for Loudoun County government operations.
