Enrollment Analysis: Multiracial students comprised 4.8% of Shenandoah County Public Schools District's student body in 2023-24 school year

There were 271 multiracial students enrolled in Shenandoah County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 0.4% less than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Shenandoah County Public Schools District welcomed 5,693 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 4.8% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the school.

Shenandoah County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Shenandoah County and has a main office in Woodstock.

Among the nine schools in Shenandoah County Public Schools District, W. W. Robinson Elementary School and Sandy Hook Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
