Page County High School in Page County welcomed most students in 2023-24 school year

Page County High School had the highest enrollment among Page County schools, welcoming 513 students during the 2023-24 school year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed at the time, 50.5% of them were female, and 49.5% were male.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 89.9% of Page County High School's total enrollment.

Among the eight schools in Page County, Luray High School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 485 students, while Luray Elementary School welcomed 482 students to be ranked third in the 2023-24 school year.

Page County High School is part of Page County Public Schools District, which roughly covers schools within Page County, with its main office in Shenandoah.

In the previous school year, Luray High School had the highest number of students among Page County schools.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14 in the 2023-24 school year, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools.
