Shenandoah Community Health Winchester Welcomes New Provider

Shenandoah Community Health— Winchester is pleased to welcome Khalid Albedrani, MD, Internal Medicine Physician, to our team. He will oversee the clinical operations of SCH Primary Care and Women’s Health on 1330 Amherst Street in Winchester.

 

Dr. Albedrani is a graduate of the University of Baghdad College of Medicine and is certified by American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Englewood Program, in New York. He brings with him experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings where he was most recently the Program Director for a hospital system in Virginia for ten years. Dr. Albedrani’s clinical leadership and work with quality performance improvement initiatives made him a 2019 recipient of the DAISY Team Award—designed to honor collaboration by two or more people who identify and meet patient and/or patient family needs by going above and beyond the traditional role. He is also a 2013 nominee and 2014 recipient of the Spirit of Planetree Award as a physician champion for person-centered care. Dr. Albedrani is a member of the American College of Physicians as well as the Society of Hospital Medicine.
