Of the 550 people living in Shenandoah Retreat in 2020, 40.5 percent (223) were women and 59.5 percent (327) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Shenandoah News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 63. In the 65 and over age range, there were 20 females and 48 males.
