Congressman Ben Cline has shared several updates and messages on social media, reflecting on Easter celebrations, the preservation of national parks, and law enforcement actions. Cline is actively serving as a U.S. Congressman for Virginia’s 6th district, succeeding Bob Goodlatte in 2019. He has been a public servant since 2002, following his education at Bates College and the University of Richmond.

On April 20, 2025, Congressman Ben Cline extended his Easter greetings to Virginia’s Sixth District and the nation, quoting Matthew 28:6 from the Bible: “Wishing everyone in Virginia’s Sixth District and across the nation a joyful and blessed Easter. ‘He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.’ Matthew 28:6.”

On April 21, 2025, Cline celebrated the natural beauty of Virginia’s Sixth District by highlighting Shenandoah National Park as a natural treasure. He shared his resolve in a congressional bipartisan effort to facilitate access for military members and veterans to national parks during peak times, linking this initiative to National Park Week. “Virginia’s Sixth District is home to the stunning Shenandoah National Park, a true natural treasure. In Congress, I am leading a bipartisan effort to ensure members of our military and veterans can access our parks during peak visiting times.”

Later on the same day, April 21, 2025, Cline discussed efforts by the Trump Administration to combat crime, specifically referencing action taken against the Tren de Aragua gang. He stated, “The Trump Administration has hit the ground running since day 1, removing violent Tren de Aragua gang members from our streets. This is the decisive action Americans deserve. Putting safety first and restoring law and order is once again a White House priority.”

Ben Cline, representing Virginia’s 6th District since 2019, was born in Stillwater and currently resides in Fincastle. He holds a BA from Bates College and a JD from the University of Richmond.
