Congressman Ben Cline, representing Virginia’s 6th district, has shared his views on several pressing issues through a series of tweets. Serving in Congress since 2019, Cline has a background in law and political service. He has taken to social media to express gratitude and concern over various national matters.

On January 28, 2025, Congressman Ben Cline thanked President Biden for fulfilling a promise to American heroes. “Thank you, @POTUS, for fulfilling this promise to our American heroes.”

The following day, January 29, 2025, he voiced his stance against the use of taxpayer money for procedures that he believes compromise children’s safety. “Taxpayer money should NEVER be used to fund procedures that compromise our children’s safety.”

Later that same day, Congressman Cline highlighted an incident involving a California woman sentenced for operating a “birth tourism” scheme. He used this example to argue against birthright citizenship as being prone to abuse. “A California woman was sentenced to 3+ years for running a “birth tourism” scheme… Birthright citizenship is a magnet for abuse.”
