Congressman Ben Cline, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Virginia’s 6th district since 2019, shared his thoughts on various national issues through a series of tweets posted on December 6 and 7, 2024.

On December 6, Congressman Cline addressed the issue of national debt by stating: “Our nation is drowning in $36 trillion of debt. It’s time to slash excessive, wasteful government spending NOW.” He emphasized readiness to tackle federal deficits alongside the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Later that day, he commented on President Trump’s team of nominees: “President Trump’s nominees are an accomplished team of individuals ready to advance his America First agenda.” Congressman Cline expressed his anticipation to collaborate with them for national progress.

On December 7, Congressman Cline commemorated the anniversary of Pearl Harbor with a solemn tribute: “Today, we solemnly remember the 2,335 lives lost in the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941—a day that will forever live in infamy.” He reflected on the enduring courage and heroism displayed during that historical event.
